"Be sure to put your feet in the right place, then stand firm."
Born in Washington DC and raised in a family that defected from behind the Iron curtain, he grew up loving and appreciating this country and the freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.
An almost lifelong Marylander, he attended Frederick High and the University of Maryland in Baltimore County.
Colin enlisted in the US Army Reserve and served as a light Infantryman (11B) and Military Policeman (95B)
Always adaptable, he has worked in Information technology since the late 90s as a systems engineer, conducting R&D, a systems integrator and a systems and solutions architect.
A hard worker, Colin has spent most of his career in management roles overseeing project delivery and success. He also has owned and managed a technology services firm.
Today, Colin wants to serve as your voice on the Hagerstown city council. A voice that echoes your concerns. A voice that matters. A voice that cares.
"Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a president and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country"
